Winston Salem Travel Round Stitch Suggestions

Hello Friends!

I'm writing today to walk through my Winston Salem travel round canvas. This design is near & dear to my heart because Winston Salem is my home. I was originally born in a small town in Ohio, but my mom's family is from Winston. We moved here when I was a little over one so this community is very special to me. I wanted to make a travel round to commemorate some of my favorite places/things in Winston, so I designed this canvas. I've included a photo of my finished ornament, and will share the threads and stitches I used to create mine!

Arts District Outline - Silk Lame SL218; Tent Stitch.

Bridge/Barn Cover - Petite Very Velvet V606, DMC Floss 422, Pepper Pot Pickle 090; Tent Stitch & French Knots.

Star - Silk Lame SL216; Cross Stitch.

Hot Sauce - Pepper Pot Salt 02, Zest 218, Cocktail Sauce 037; Tent Stitch, stitches reversing over two intersections for the "words", reverse satin.

"336" - DMC Floss 825; Tent Stitch.

Camel - DMC Floss 780; Encroaching Gobelin.

Buildings - DMC Floss 318 & BLANC; Tent Stitch.
